On April 25, 2015, the GTMS Student Council volunteered at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey located in Egg Harbor Township. Students packed 200 bags of food items for the Community Food Bank's Mobile Pantry. Students also placed labels on a 1,000 cans of soup to be made available for use at the Community Food Bank.
Reports cards will be given to students today in homeroom. Report cards must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to your child's homeroom teacher.

The library with help from the GTMS FSA is sponsoring a buy one get one free Scholastic book fair April 20–24. The hours are Monday through Thursday 8am-2pm and Friday 8am-10am. Books are buy one get one free, including middle school fiction and nonfiction, picture books, cookbooks and other adult books. Click on the link below to see a preview of the book selection. Parents are welcome to come and visit the book fair. We'll have something for everyone!
GTMS students blew "Bubbles for Autism" in recognition of Autism Awareness Month. The event was organized by The Grade 8 URSA students. The teachers and students at GTMS also had a dress down day and "Hat Day" to raise money for Autism. The school raised $380.45 which was donated to the Autism Speaks Organization.
