GTMS has adopted the same grading scale as our elementary schools and Absegami High School. This allows for consistency across grades and a smoother transition for students into high school. Please note that the grading scale in your child's agenda book does not reflect the new scale. Please refer to the Grading section of the website to view the new scale.

On September 14, 1812, Francis Scott Key wrote a poem after witnessing the British bombard Fort McHenry, Maryland. The lyrics were set to music and the "Star Spangled Banner" would later become our nation's national anthem. Please enjoy the GTMS Concert Band performing the national anthem in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the writing of the "Star Spangled Banner."
According to state law and district policy, students who wish to participate in sports must have an approved physical examination. Sports Physicals for the following fall sports are due Thursday, September 11: Girls Field Hockey, Cross Country, Boys & Girls Soccer, Flag Football, Golf, and Drill/Step Teams.
