7th grade orientation will be at Galloway Township Middle School on Thursday, August 17. Incoming 7th grade students and parents are invited to meet staff members, tour the building, and learn about the programs and activities at GTMS.
The GMTS Library and FSA are sponsoring a buy one get one free Scholastic book fair April 3-7. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Books are buy one get one free, including middle school fiction and nonfiction, picture books, cookbooks and other adult books. Click on the link below to see a preview of the book selection. We invite you to join us at the Board of Education meeting on Monday, Feb. 27th at 7pm in the GTMS café to learn about proposed scheduling and curriculum changes at GTMS. Mrs. Paula Junker, GTMS Principal, will be presenting the goals, highlights, and other details that include an enrichment/intervention period, STEM and advanced science. Please note that the changes do not affect the starting and ending times.

In celebration of Computer Science Education Week (12/5-12/11), students worldwide will be participating in an introduction to computer science called Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in over 180 countries. Here at GTMS, 7th grade students will be doing Hour of Code activities this week durign Science classes. The website is code.org/learn and there are more than 100 tutorials for all levels of experience available on all types of devices.

The GTMS library and FSA are sponsoring a book fair Monday, October 24 through Thursday, October 27 from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and Friday, October 28 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
Students will visit the book fair with their ELA teacher and may purchase books during that visit or any day of the fair with a teacher’s permission. The book selection can be previewed at the book fair homepage by clicking on the link below. Books can also be ordered online and they will be delivered to the school.
